Brad Minsley - Principal & Co-Founder
As a real estate industry veteran, Brad’s experience is multifaceted including land entitlement, underwriting, development, HUD development, finance, HUD finance, property management, HUD certified property management, construction, and disposition. Brad has had direct involvement in the development and acquisition of 10 Federal’s multifamily and self-storage properties with total asset value exceeding $850mm. Additionally, Brad leads the product development team within 10 Federal Technologies.
Brad’s approach to the real estate industry is grounded in data driven decisions. Through the use of various methods to track and quantify performance metrics, 10 Federal can make intelligent decisions as it approaches new developments, acquisitions, and operational growth.
Brad holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Finance from Duke University and the London School of Economics. He also holds a Masters in Film Production from American University and is an IFR rated private pilot.
Cliff Minsley - Principal & Co-Founder
Cliff leads the development side of 10 Federal including the pre-development, entitlement, finance & construction divisions as well as capital raising and debt placement.
Cliff holds the firm's Real Estate Brokerage license across multiple states as well as the firm’s Unlimited North Carolina General Contractors license. Cliff has been active in the real estate industry for over 17 years and has been involved in over $650mm of acquisition and development of multi-family and self-storage projects including a specific focus on HUD financed multi-family projects.
Cliff’s approach to real estate is with a focus on detail coupled with the use of various software platforms that provide Key Performance Indicators that allow for real time monitoring of the progression of projects through the development and construction cycles. This method has allowed 10 Federal to excel at the development and construction discipline resulting in projects that are built to a high level of quality while maintaining budget and schedule.
Cliff holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from UNC-Chapel Hill’s Kenan-Flagler School of Business and a Minor in Environmental Science Studies.
Andrew Capranos - President, 10 Federal Self Storage
Andrew Capranos is currently serving as the President of 10 Federal Self Storage where he oversees all aspects of property operations for our self-storage portfolio. Andrew joined 10 Federal after holding various operational leadership roles at Public Storage (NYSE: PSA), the largest owner and operator of self-storage facilities in the world. Andrew has a Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship Management from the University of Central Florida and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Louisiana State University.
Geoff Hayth - President, DaVinci Lock®
Geoff oversees all aspects of the business including the Product Development, Customer Experience, and Business Development teams. Geoff joined DaVinci Lock® after previously overseeing operations for Extra Space Storage where he served in multiple roles including District Manager, Operations Manager, and Director of Operations.
Geoff has a degree in Organizational Leadership from the Colorado State University System with a concentration in Business Management.
Jack Sparks - Vice President of Operations, Field Operations
Jack Sparks is an accomplished professional with a wealth of experience in operational leadership and a proven track record of driving success. Currently serving as the Vice President of Operations, Field Operations at 10 Federal, Jack holds a key role overseeing the management team, operations technicians, and account managers. With his strategic vision and keen understanding of the industry, Jack is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company's entire portfolio of properties, including implementing pricing and marketing strategies to maximize profitability.
Prior to joining 10 Federal, Jack honed his expertise in the self-storage industry during his tenure as District Manager at Public Storage (NYSE: PSA), the largest owner and operator of self-storage facilities globally. In this role, Jack had oversight of the largest district in the entire company which afforded him in-depth knowledge and insights into the industry's best practices and operational excellence.
Jack holds a Bachelor of Business degree in Managerial Leadership from Concordia University at Austin.
Jacob Mortensen - Vice President of Operations, Corporate Support
Jacob Mortensen is an accomplished professional with a wealth of experience in operational leadership and a proven track record of driving success. Currently serving as the Vice President of Operations, Corporate Support at 10 Federal, he holds a key role overseeing the Contact Center, Property Transitions, and Facilities & Maintenance departments.
Prior to joining 10 Federal, Jacob honed his expertise in the self-storage industry, having held the District Manager role at Public Storage (NYSE: PSA), the largest owner and operator of self-storage facilities globally. His tenure at Public Storage equipped him with in-depth knowledge and insights into the industry's best practices and operational excellence.
Jacob holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Managerial Leadership from New Mexico State University.
Brian Oakley - Vice President of Technology
Brian serves as the Vice President of Technology for 10 Federal Storage where he is responsible for the overall technology strategy and its alignment with the strategic goals of the organization. Prior to joining 10 Federal, Brian served as the Vice President of Technology for Realterm, an independent global investment manager focused on the transportation industry, where he led the digital transformation of the organization during a period of rapid growth. Brian has held various technology leadership roles in the logistics, real estate and finance industries during his career.
Brian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems Management from Salisbury University.
Trent Erickson - Vice President of Accounting
Trent brings more than 15 years of experience as a finance and accounting leader at high growth companies. Trent was recently the VP Controller at BayoTech and a Senior Director of SEC Reporting at Extra Space Storage Inc., a S&P 500 company. In this role he was integral in growing the company to over 1,950 stores by optimizing the accounting structure and processes to accommodate the rapid growth.
Trent is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Masters of Accountancy from the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah.
Kris Gunther - VP of Human Resources
Kris serves as the Vice President of Human Resources for the 10 Federal Team responsible for the overall leadership of our Human Resources policies, procedures and long-range strategic talent management goals.
Kris served as a Human Resources Director of Lowe's Home Improvement supporting Supply Chain where across her tenure she led and directed a team of human resources professionals across the United States. In addition to this, she served as a senior HR leader for Amazon where she developed strategies and programs to support expansion across North America.
Kris holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Lenior-Rhyne University.
